Iberian Lynx
The Iberian Lynx are extremely rare and one of the most elusive species in the world.
They live exclusively in the wildest and most remote parts of Spain.
In 2002, it was fewer than 100 of them left in the wild, therefore the Iberian Lynx
is the most endangered cat in the world.
But extensive programs was started to save them from exstintion which has resulted in an increase of the population.
The wild Iberian lynx population has increased in the last 20 years due to all efforts,
and at 2020 it was 1,111 lynxes recorded!
I went together with WildNature Photo Adventures to Sierra de Andújar to see and take pictures of
these amazing cats…
