White Stork (Ciconia ciconia)
The white stork is a large white bird with black flight-feathers and conical red bill.
They want to breed in open farmland and marshy wetlands and they make bulky nests conspicuous
in trees and also very often on buildings.
Their flight are with the neck and legs outstretched with deep wingbeats interspersed with
glides and also soars on thermals.
The global population of the White Stork is actually not considered to be threatened.
The European population are just under 500.000 birds.
